With a very offensive attitude, as far as that is possible in korfball, Melmac sets out to take revenge against Klimop. There seems to be a big shot at this early in the match: a small lead of 3-0 is quickly built up. Klimop is having a hard time with the youth from Tilburg. Opportunities keep coming from both sides, but Klimop manages to score two in a row, bringing the tension back into the match. This tension is quickly covered up by the eight from West Brabant. No fewer than five more goals are scored and Melmac seems to have achieved victory. 7-2 going into halftime; a top ranking for the people of Bordeaux. In the second half Melmac continues the positive trend and the lead continues to widen. To 8-2, 9-2. That's where it stops for a moment. You saw a few sad faces on the home team. Then of course you also have to let them score. Those people also work during the day, then come together in the evening to have a nice game of korfball, come from those students (and Tavi).

The Astians then manage to score three more, of which no own goals, which seems to end the match at 14-6, but Melmac legend Matthijs Sturm scores his 5th of the evening and ends the match 15-6 . An excellent victory for the Tilburg team over KV Klimop. The points have been scored and Melmac can go home again after a very good match. By the way, if people have the idea or feeling that this match report was written about five weeks after the regular match, then that feeling is absolutely correct. Good day.
