MATCH REPORTS

KVC/NeCa MW1 - Melmac MW1

HIGH WAGE | September 16, 2020
Wednesday September 16 was the first match for the midweek women's team. A completely new team, which is not yet attuned to each other, but was very much looking forward to playing a match.
The match didn't start very well, everyone still had to get used to each other and that's why we quickly fell behind. With another nice shot just before half time, we went into half time trailing 8-1. Of course that had to change. We went into the second half with a lot of confidence, and it went a lot better. In the end we lost 12-6, so we still came back well in the second half. Despite this loss, you could see that things were getting better throughout the match. It's a new team and everyone has to get used to each other. I am confident that things will go well in the coming matches. But… this was only half of the experience this evening. Because Anne and Anne were so grateful that ALF had come to support us, they took some selfies with him in the back of the car. Unfortunately, this did not go as well as expected as Amy drove too fast over the speed bumps.
Meanwhile, it was fairly quiet in the other car (Mandy's), until Fenna suddenly gave a loud scream. Everyone was immediately shocked. Fenna saw something that everyone feared and which was already known in the history of Melmac. She saw the path of the future, but among many Melmacers it is also known as the terror path. Mandy's car thought we're not going to do this, so it turned around. She passed Amy's car, which, according to the navigation, was led to the same terror road. They immediately turned around, because they did not want to go through this experience again. Because it turns out that when you drive down this road, your future is...GONE!! This evening of September 16 can therefore be described as an evening with many new acquaintances. Not only were we introduced to a new women's team, but we also got to know the future path.
