OOSTERHOUT | September 9, 2020
You can't just start the first match. That's why we went to Matthijs for dinner in Oosterhout. A unique experience, because most of them have never been to the village.
Master chef Matthijs was already busy preparing the nasi when the two taxis arrived. Things went wild in the kitchen. We are still not sure whether it was due to our cook's shrunken pans. Fortunately, this also allowed the entire cooker to enjoy the fried rice. Of course it's nice for all that effort. With a well-filled belly and a short ride, I arrived at the Voltreffers in a mixed mood. A little surprise was waiting there. With the rebirth of the weekend team, there was also a mole present in mixed this time. Not Sven this time, because he even scored one. Or was this just for distraction?
Our new talents also scored well! In any case, it was obvious that the referee was the mole. From so low to the ground, he made quite a mess. The referee could of course not see the match properly and his glasses were unfortunately not sufficient. Yet mixed has not completely fallen into its "holes". They managed to score no less than 8 points. Great start for this new team. The only pity was that the opponent had scored 23. It's also not fair if they get all those jokers thrown at them. Next time mixed will have to look for that, but that's something for later. Let's first complete some assignments during the upcoming training.

"In any case, it was very clear that the referee was the mole. From so low to the ground, he made quite a fuss."
