Melmac MW1 - BIO MW1

On a dark, slippery Wednesday evening, the Melmac women's team set out with 2 cars. They had to go to a room in the village of Hoogeloon, where there was little parking space. Because of this, Lieke, Naomi, Fenna, Marit and Fenna chose to put the car behind a Citroën c1 and thought they had a secret for Amy, Nynke, Lisa and Anne. They laughed about it and that's how they started the match, they thought….
The match was played in a hall that was familiar to us, where the walls seem to be closing in on you. The balls flew around and soon the first goals came. Anne, Amy, Lieke and Marit2x were allowed to score for Melmac. Unfortunately this was not enough to win the match and we had to leave the field with blood, sweat and tears with a 9-5 for NeCa.
While Lieke, Naomi, Fenna, Marit and Fenna thought they had contained Amy, Nynke, Lisa and Anne upon arrival, their dream quickly fell apart. It turned out not to be Amy's shiny four-wheeler, but a mother with baby ducks who wanted to stir up the place if Lieke's car was not moved. Sorry ladies for the nice try, but maybe we should stick to korfball. Love!
