MATCH REPORTS

Rosolo MW1 - Melmac MW1

REUSEL | March 25, 2019
It's been a while, but the ladies left for their last away match on the last Monday of March. It was an intense evening.
Firstly, the match took place on Monday. Do I have to say more? Secondly, this anonymous writer was in the car with Amy and that is an experience to say the least. On the way there it turned out that Amy's car was not really welcome on the road. We received high beam signals up to five times from five different oncoming vehicles. Even though there was no smoke coming from the car and the car was still driving normally, this caused quite a bit of tension. Mrs. Honkoop had probably adjusted the lights with her beautiful knees and now blinded many oncoming drivers not with her beauty but with her car lights. Then came the match, which went wonderfully well. Even though we quickly fell behind 1-0, we did not let our beautiful heads hang and Fenna D scored a smooth shot. Unfortunately, the opponent did not give us this nice feeling for long and the 2-1 came to our ears. But if Fenna scores 1, what does Fenna 2 do? That's right, scoring too. And yes, also with a shot. Compliments to the Fennas, because this gave Melmac an idea. Let's score! That's how it was after a chance from Mirjam and a shot from Aniek and one from Naomi, it was 2-5. Lucky us, because Mirjam decided to continue and immediately scored two goals after conceding a goal 😉. And so we reached a halftime score of 3-7.
I would say 'nice moment to stop', but this time the korfball match also had a second half. We wouldn't be Melmac if we still made the match exciting. Even though Nynke scored a well-deserved short chance for the orange and burgundy team, the yellow korfball players had found the yellow basket and scored not once, not twice, not three, but four times. Nynke thanks for scoring in the second half, only love for you! Because partly because of Nynke, the final score was 7-8 for the sexy ladies of Melmac. Then the return journey began. And I'm not going to waste any more words than saying that Amy should stick to korfball and not try to throw an apple core through a passenger side window.
